Welcome to the homepage of the Okanagan Agrifutures Program.

We invite you to return over the next few months as this website developments and becomes an information resource for farmers and agricultural stakeholders in the Regional District of Central Okanagan.

Mission of the Program

Our mission is to assist individual farmers and agribusiness owners in the Central Okanagan region to realize new opportunities in their business.

How do we intend to accomplish our mission?

We will accomplish our mission by: 

  • Providing one-on-one mentoring to individual businesses.
  • Providing on-going professional development opportunities.
  • Facilitating the creation of new agricultural associations.  
  • Maintaining  an information resource centre for farmers and other agricultural stakeholders.
  • Contributing to new stakeholder initiatives of agricultural associations and industry support organizations.
