Take a hand and build a partnership, as you join the most talked about trend in agriculture today with Value Chain Management (VCM) workshops. A VCM workshop will provide you with opportunity to learn about the evolution of agriculture to a demand driven focus, is available to you in BC this January in Kelowna. This workshop is brought to you by the Canadian Farm Business Management Council, and the Okanagan Agrifutures Program.

During the workshop, you'll:

  • Learn the key principles and benefits of value chains and VCM.
  • Evaluate your readiness for participating in a value chain.
  • Gain insights into already successful agri-food value chain alliances in Canada and abroad.
  • Learn how adopting VCM strategies and practices could enable your business to increase competiteness.
  • Identify ways to apply VCM approaches in your business to better manage risk, reduce cost and increase profitability.
